I think as long as you use Airvpn,Yes.Its all about logfiles and if you trust Air than there is no problem.If they have to show there logfiles,than its really over with Privacy. If its coming so far,Air is already left the netherlands. Remember the netherlands is a memeber of the 9-eyes:they share!

​But there is more about security/Privacy.For instance do you use Faceb. and how do you use it.Twitter etc.Do you use the cloud and do you encrypt your stuff in the cloud (boxcryptor!) .Forget windows ,its spyware ,Etc,etc.

Many countries passed more strict internet surveillance laws during the past years.

A quite large amount of the European traffic is routed to Europe via the Netherlands, about the same way airport hubs work.

As usual, such laws apply to residential ISP providers, and do not apply in case of VPN providers in general,

where they operate under an IP space of a datacenter which is not bound to these restrictions by law.

Exceptions: Russia (as a big example) and a whole list of about ~30 questionable countries where the term "internet freedom"

is associated negatively with politics, rest assured you don't want to exit with those countries in any case, so sometimes entire

continents are incompatible with https://airvpn.org/mission. Contrary to some other VPN providers, without naming any in particular,

Air will never operate a "Virtual infrastructure" or an IP geolocation trick to have more flags in the statistics page.

 

To answer this question, in my personal opinion, there are many more things that Netherlands can ban before the internet freedom,

and judging by their historical record of tolerance and freedom of speech and acts, this is not the case where any panic should take place.

 

So Netherlands was, is, and will be (for the foreseeable future) a good exit point for users across Europe.

You need not worry about it that much. It's about a law that had been passed without the 'proper' consent of the 2nd chamber(ruling body of the government). The 'elite', if you will, among the old politicians of the first chamber (oversees laws and passing them among others) passed it and the general populace and some of the largest political groups in terms of seats, of our country is not very happy about it as this technically infringes on a few of our constitutional rights.

There is still some things going on regarding that subject, but we Dutchman are famous for speaking out on and to politicians.. Cause we can.
