PfSense Install gets error, "An IPv4 protocol was selected, but the selected interface has no IPv4 address."

Using the Pfsense 2.3 install guide

When I get to step 3A, "Step 3-A: Setting up the OpenVPN Client"
I get the following error:  "An IPv4 protocol was selected, but the selected interface has no IPv4 address."

After Googling some, I see that this error *might* be a bug in PfSense 2.3 and how it uses OpenVPN? Or something else?

I checked steps 1-2 thoroughly, and I am pretty sure I am following the instrux.
