IPv4 Check Shows USA IP When Using Canadian Servers

When I check my IP while running Eddie on most Canadian servers, it shows a USA address. IPv6 leak checks always show Canada.

...Just wondering if something's wrong with my (Linux) setup, and/or if I need to be concerned?

Probably a geolocation database error. Which servers did you use?

Thanks for responding. I haven't checked every Canadian server but I have tried a lot of them. So far, Kleeia is the only one that doesn't show a USA IP (@ whatismyipaddress.com).

I've ran some quick checks on some of the canadian servers and could not verify your observations. They all point to Canada. I think it's really a simple geolocation database inconsistency which of course depends on the database used.

Maybe we aren't comparing the same Canadian servers. Here's a list of some that I'm referring to (I have left out info that refers to the actual IP address):

 

Cynosura:

Interestingly, the following server shows a UK IP:

I brought this up in a similar thread, fooling around with my Facebook settings, under "Security and Login". At the present time I am logged in on the Kleeia Canadian server, yet FB is telling me I am located in

Windsor, CA, United States.
