user600 0 Posted ... Hello , I am a newbie to VPN use . My issue is with sites like Amazon ,pay-pal , Ebay , and some other utility providers and Job agencies . Every time I Try to log in they say something like' theres a problem we just want to make sure its you ' then they send a security code to my phone or email and I have to type this in to proceed . How do i get round this without actually logging out of VPN because they way this stands I would rather not bother with a VPN at all as its giving me a headache with having to go through a security check every time I use the sites above . Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... How are you supposed to fix a feature? It's there to protect your account from being accessed by other clients than yours. And there is no option to turn that off, of course. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. serenacat 83 Posted ... The worst challenge is the Captcha that puts up 12 images and asks you to click the ones that have water (in a river, drain, ...) and then repeats again and again with "signs" or something because maybe you made an error. Probably the sites that do the security code sms to phone etc are ones that are used repeatedly such as your online banking, and so are worth entering in Eddie Preferences/Routes so they are outside the VPN - that is what the feature is for.But you do not have the protection of VPN encryption, as Treiberschreiber suggests, so beware "free wifi" etc.I expect you would get fewer challenges if using an Air server in your own country, if possible.
