With TOR you bounce around several different areas before you end up on the internet. I wondered if you could create the same type of situation using a virtual machine. My understanding of how virtual machines connect to the net is also limited so this might all be wrong. So, you're using VMWare or Virtualbox on your PC. You set the VM to use bridge mode so it uses your local network connection to go out onto the internet. If your main machine is connected to AirVPN and connected to server A (for example), then you run AirVPN on the virtual machine as well and connect to server B.
