Signed up because of bestvpn reviews. Tried out for 3 days and was good.

So never used a VPN service before and only know basics. My question is the following. With TOR you bounce around several different areas before you end up on the internet. I wondered if you could create the same type of situation using a virtual machine. My understanding of how virtual machines connect to the net is also limited so this might all be wrong.

So, you're using VMWare or Virtualbox on your PC. You set the VM to use bridge mode so it uses your local network connection to go out onto the internet. If your main machine is connected to AirVPN and connected to server A (for example), then you run AirVPN on the virtual machine as well and connect to server B. Is the virtual machine connection actually going through server A first then onto server B?

Hi,

With this setup you can create a "tor-like" connection which is more like what other VPN providers usually call double-hop. However you'll lose the anonymity tor provides.
