dns 10.4.0.1 not working

Just bought an asus router and are running it as a client to airvpn.

Downloaded config and it works fine however when I use 10.4.0.1 as a dns server it does not work.

When I use 8.8.8.8 it works but I want to use the region unblocking feature of airvpn.
