ANSWERED DD-WRT How to script for multiple Backup Servers

Hi everyone, my 1st day here and just installed the appropriate scripts to start airvpn on my dd wrt v3.x. Everything went fine but as I was reading what the vpn can do, I became aware that you can set it up for backup servers to kick in if 1 fails, I am sure that this works in Eddie but can this be scripted into DD WRT and if so can someone explain how as this will complete my build, before I move on to more advanced options.

No need to write a script.

 

You can simply include multiple remote-servers in your OpenVPN-Config. The client tries to connect to the first address and in case of failing or interruption cycles through the entries.

 

Example:

remote myvpn.example.com 1194 udp
remote myvpn.example.com 443 tcp-client
