glitchgod 0 Posted ... tutorial 1 being the setup of the initial ddwrt router and setting up ALL traffic to go through the built in openVPN https://airvpn.org/ddwrt/ tutorial 2 being port forward using iptables.https://airvpn.org/topic/9270-how-to-forward-ports-in-dd-wrt-tomato-with-iptables/ Okay, as of right now my router handles about 10 devices and has been running ddwrt for about 1 year without any advance routing or vpn setup. Out of these 10 devices 9 normal and 1 virtual machine, each of these 10 devices has their own Static Local IP address (192.168.1.xxx). Tutorial 1 runs through the steps of setting up my understanding is all traffic to be routed through the optional onboard OpenVpn, this is not what i want since it just the virtual (1 of the 10) device to actually have anything to do with vpn. With that said do i have to setup the onboard OpenVpn for all devices? Tutorial 2 being port forward using iptables talks of forwarding a set number of devices through a tunnel, this tutorial sounds more like what I want but unsure if i need to do the first tutorial. Sum up:OF the 2 tutorials on ddwrt and airvpn if i want 1 device to only use the Airvpn servers do i need to follow both tutorials or just one? Quote Share this post Link to post
glitchgod 0 Posted ... Found a tutorial dealing with what i exactly was looking for https://charleswilkinson.co.uk/2016/05/14/selective-routing-using-ddwrt-and-openvpn/ the settings seem to work. But speed is never steady (.2-45mb) , might be cause the machine actually on the tunnel is a virtual machine Quote Share this post Link to post
