AirVPN on OpenVPN Connect on iOS

Good morning folks,

 

Recently my iPhone has been having all kinds of trouble connecting with the OpenVPN Connect app. It used to be so reliable. I would not even have to think about it. However, now it has difficulty connecting at all sometimes.  I have to cancel and connect a number of times before it finally does. This happens on WiFi or Mobile Data. The only thing that I can think of is perhaps I am using the wrong ovpn file? Currently I am using the general Canada one. Would I be better off signaling out a specific server perchance?

I had to switch all mine to port 80 from 443 for it to work on my iPhone
