Uploading files to "anonymous" file hosts

I have a question:  I have some files I want to upload to a site, they are not illegal but none-the-less I don't want them to point back to me.  I have noticed there are "anonymous" file hosts like FILE DROPPER that say they are anonymous which they could or could not be. 

 

1.  If I upload a file while connected to VPN would the file only show the VPN address?  Would using TOR make it better, worse, or the same?

2.  Do text or image files have an IP stamp in them, I seem to remember that long ago I watched a program where they were able to catch a crook by the computer details of his documents.

 

In this case I want to upload some MS articles that are not copyrighted but I want to be anonymous (can't be traced back to me).

1. yes, the server will only see the VPN IP address you're connected to. You can use TOR but it won't make any difference.

2. Microsoft Office documents log a lot of information (not your IP address AFAIK) like your Windows login, name, the time you spent on the document etc. I know there are tools to discard it but I've never used any so you'll have to look it up unless someone wants to chime in.

My goodness look at all the BS they store on you in the doc:

 

• Your name and initials

• Your company or organization name

• The name of your computer

• The name of the network server or hard disk drive where you saved the document

• Other file properties and summary information

• Non-visible portions of embedded OLE objects

• The names of previous document authors

• Document revisions

• Document versions

• Template information

• Hidden text

• Tracked changes and comments

Perhaps an open door,but there is something like Libreoffice.In the latest version the software is almost 100% compatible.
