AirVPN + University VPN (Cisco AnyConnect?)

Hi!

 

I'm having a problem:

My University offers a VPN service (I have a specified login and pwd) that lets me access different websites and download some specific scientific papers.

They suggest to use Cisco AnyConnect Software - that works fine if I dont have AirVPN turned on .... but can't establish a connection with my AirVPN running.

 

Do you have any ideas how I can solve this problem?

The best thing would be to run it in a VM - mainly because Cisco AnyConnect supports pushing random policy files on your machine,

and that means the admins can decide to install random junk without your permission.

which VM can you recommend - I dont have any exp with VMs ...
