Low upload speed on UK servers

I've just tried AirVPN for the first time and found a few minor issues with the client, such as not being able to connect if route checking  and dns checking are enabled.

 

When I eventually managed to connect I did some speed tests and no matter what UK server I use speed tests show great download speeds (virtually as good as without the VPN) but upload speeds are cut by 1/3 or even 2/3's, I can barely manage 5Mb/s - 7Mb/s (without the VPN my normal upload is 16Mb/s).

 

Any other UK users here have any different experience?

I am UK based. Who's your ISP? My download speeds are dramatically reduced with AirVPN, but upload is almost the same without it.

I'm with BT, Infinity fibre

 

Another point is that I am not using the VPN as I write this while Network Lock is on but I am still able to use the internet.

It seems the Network lock on Eddie versions prior to 2.11.13 only works if you use the Windows Firewall
