linux mint unable to connect

I have just  successfully downloaded the 211beta version for Linux Mint but it will not connect to any server. It keeps disconnecting and then trying again with a new server. Ailurus.

Try the portable version, under "Other versions" in "experimental" tar.gz Portable.  This one doesn't need mono dependencies.  If you grab the stable or beta .deb version of Eddie, you have to modify some of the mono dependencies in the .deb package itself to get it to work.
