Remote Access to Systems On 4G/LTE Connection that Only Get Private IP

My home internet connection is currently via 4G/LTE, and as such my isp only gives me a private ip. Wondering if utilizing AirVPN could allow me to access my systems remotely? Would be planning to setup the vpn on my ddwrt based router, though open to other ideas. Mostly just looking at this for remote ssh and remote desktop purposes.
