OpenVPN 2.4 Adds support for DATA CHANNEL CIPHER AES-256-GCM. Will Eddie support this in the future?

Eddie is an OpenVPN wrapper, so whenever your local OpenVPN binary supports GCM Eddie will support it as well, so to say. It's Air who needs to change the server configuration in order to use GCM instead of CBC, and then all clients need to adapt.

I personally don't see an implementation of it in 2017. OpenVPN 2.4 is only a few days old and CBC works.
