RVECJSCXEUZCWVBR 0 Posted ... Hi all, Quick question; I'm running Plex on my main machine (MacOS) and have already gotten remote access up and running working from my mobile (iOS). I have them both connectect to AirVPN 24/7. My question is; would the connection be more reliable/faster if I had both devices set up to use the same exact server? Currently I let Air decide which server would be best, which in this case chose 2 Dutch servers. I've got no problem with my current set up, I'm just wondering. I suppose the only disadvantage to choosing one server would be if that one server had line issues, etc. Thanks. Quote Share this post Link to post

You generally can't be connected to the same server from two or three devices (there's a workaround but it's recommended to not use it). Also, it wouldn't make your connection faster, the bottleneck is still the speed of your line. But if you feel you lose too much speed with VPN enabled, this is a completely different topic.. I suppose the only disadvantage to choosing one server would be if that one server had line issues, etc Yes, but it happens quite rarely, even close to never if you choose your servers responsibly. I choose them myself for example because I know which servers would work good for me. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. RVECJSCXEUZCWVBR 0 Posted ... Thanks. I didn't know about not being able to connect to same server. Is there a simple answer as to why, or complicated back-end system stuff that I probably won't understand. Thanks anyway, now I get to have fun testing to see which server works best for me.
