AirVPN on AWS EC2

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to connect to airvpn on an AWS EC2 server running Ubuntu. I'm using a linux config from the client area. OpenVPN runs, but then I loose ssh connection and cannot connect back.

I tried these steps but could not get anywhere.

I just need airvpn for outgoing internet traffic, port 80 and port 443. I don't need it for anything else. Any help will be appreciated.

You could change your default SSH port on the AWS to a port that you have forwarded in your client area on AirVPN. That's how I did it.

Awesome, thank you, I'll try that out and update it here.

I was also thinking of running openvpn in a docker container. That way I can get to the host.
