Where to find How-To for socks-proxy option?

I am able to connect to AirVPN configured on VyOS, however I am not able to get the socks-proxy part working. Please advise how to determine why it is not starting.

What is the socks proxy part?

the part on your config generator that sets '--socks-proxy localhost 8080' in the ovpn file

This part is only needed if you have socks or any other proxy which is required before connecting to the VPN.

Mostly this only applies in corporate networks with web filtering enabled.

If you don't use a proxy to access the web, then you don't need this option.
