apiontek 0 Posted ... Opened a ticket, but figured I'd ask for help here too. My VPN speeds are very slow. I'm running OpenVPN on Ubuntu Server. With speedtest-cli & without VPN running, I consistently get speeds in the 200 Mbit/s range on all my devices, including the one running the Ubuntu Server. When I start OpenVPN with AirVPN, and then run the speedtest, I only get around 2-4 Mbit/s ... is this normal? I'm just using the general "america.vpn.airdns.org" endpoint, should I try something else? Attached is the openvpn conf file I'm using.CPU is Intel Core i7-4600U @ 2.10 GHz, w/8GB RAM ... it this a CPU issue? Do I need to play with MTU settings? I have tried mssfix with 1350, 1400, and 1460, they did not help. I also tried europe.vpn.airdns.org and se.vpn.airdns.org for the heck of it, still no change. Any ideas?airvpnUDP.conf.zip Quote Share this post Link to post
