PseudoSane 0 Posted ... Hi all, Was just browsing the web with AirVPN activated when all of a sudden it decided to disconnect me, this usually happens from time to time but this time it could not reconnect, all I got was a DNS checking failure problem. After uninstalling & reinstalling the TAP-driver (tried ndis5, 9.9.2 but didn' work. However, ndis6 9.21.2 seemed to work) that problem stopped but now when the VPN connects (both with and without network lock) I have no internet at all. Log in the spoiler. gary.brown 0 Posted ... I have had same issue. Check your network card IPv4 settings and ensure "Obtain DNS automatically" is selected. I am guessing that AirVPN takes control of this and sets to specific IP and does not clear if connection failure. Quote Share this post Link to post
PseudoSane 0 Posted ... I tried to change it as you suggested (was sat to 10.4.0.1) to automatically obtain the DNS but still don't have any internet when I activate my VPN (also tried to flush the DNS as well). Seen in the VPN client that the data sent/received sometimes jumps up to like 50b/s for half a second before dropping down to 0b/s. Edit: Just saw that if I set it to automatically obtain DNS it changes it back to 10.4.0.1 after I've connected to the VPN Quote Share this post Link to post
