whiskey_76 6 Posted ... I have been considering trying out "ungoogled chromium", but I do not have any experience in building programs from source code. Normally I just use the Debian repositories and APT commands to install or remove programs. Can anyone give me any pointers there? I read the instructions but it is pretty much greek to me. It doesn't seem like Debian has a repo that I can put in sources list and just use APT commands. I did like the Brave browser but for whatever reason it no longer works. It just won't open. And it's not necessary, there are binaries. The disadvantage is that you have no automatic way of updating for now unless you use Arch or a derivative and can use the Arch User Repository. 2 hours ago, whiskey_76 said: I did like the Brave browser but for whatever reason it no longer works. I remember that the devs started to unblock some ad domains or something like that, not sure anymore, which made me slightly sceptical. I saw that and tried installing using the binaries using the gdebi and it gave me errors and wouldn't work. I might try again over the weekend. Quote Share this post Link to post
