Is their a way to use an Air server as a SSH Socksproxy in Firefox?

Recommended Posts

Hello, i am currently attempting to find out how to connect to AirVPN via a PuTTY gui. However i get this error. Is it even possible to do? :/

First of all, you should run it without the pty allocation option, since you don't get a terminal session

you only get a tcp forwarding session. So set it to "Don't allocate a pseudo-terminal" in settings.

Second, you cannot do it with putty on it's own, you can do it with a SOCKS5 server that is

using your tunnel interface as an upstream. On Windows the easiest way will be running a micro VM

with Linux that will be used as a VPN client and SOCKS5 server, to which you can forward all your

LAN applications using SOCKS5.
