Aspisoph 0 Posted ... Hi, As above I am having trouble connecting using the Eddie Client. Sometimes it connects, then the next time it won't connect on the same server with the same settings. It seems to behave in a random manner. . 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > PUSH: Received control message: 'PUSH_REPLY,redirect-gateway def1 bypass-dhcp,dhcp-option DNS 10.4.0.1,comp-lzo no,route-gateway 10.4.0.1,topology subnet,ping 10,ping-restart 60,ifconfig 10.4.35.211 255.255.0.0'. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > OPTIONS IMPORT: timers and/or timeouts modified. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > OPTIONS IMPORT: LZO parms modified. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > OPTIONS IMPORT: --ifconfig/up options modified. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > OPTIONS IMPORT: route options modified. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > OPTIONS IMPORT: route-related options modified. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > OPTIONS IMPORT: --ip-win32 and/or --dhcp-option options modified. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > ROUTE_GATEWAY 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0 IFACE=eno1 HWADDR=f0:79:59:dd:c4:a3. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > TUN/TAP device tun0 opened. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > TUN/TAP TX queue length set to 100. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > do_ifconfig, tt->ipv6=0, tt->did_ifconfig_ipv6_setup=0. 2016.09.16 20:43:31 - OpenVPN > /sbin/ifconfig tun0 10.4.35.211 netmask 255.255.0.0 mtu 1500 broadcast 10.4.255.255. 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - OpenVPN > /sbin/route add -net 71.19.252.113 netmask 255.255.255.255 gw 192.168.0.1. 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - OpenVPN > /sbin/route add -net 0.0.0.0 netmask 128.0.0.0 gw 10.4.0.1. 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - OpenVPN > /sbin/route add -net 128.0.0.0 netmask 128.0.0.0 gw 10.4.0.1. 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - Starting Management Interface. 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - OpenVPN > Initialization Sequence CompletedI 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - /etc/resolv.conf renamed to /etc/resolv.conf.airvpn as backupI 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - DNS of the system updated to VPN DNS (Rename method: /etc/resolv.conf generated)I 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - Flushing DNSI 2016.09.16 20:43:36 - Checking routeI 2016.09.16 20:43:38 - Checking DNSE 2016.09.16 20:43:39 - DNS checking failed.. 2016.09.16 20:43:39 - OpenVPN > MANAGEMENT: Client connected from [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:3100! Aspisoph 0 Posted ... Thanks for the suggestion will try it in future.Something I've been doing with success if it fails to connect, is shutting the client down completely and then restarting it. If I do that it has connected me immediately the last couple of days. The only issue I've noticed is there are DNS leaks the first couple of times I get a connection with the network lock on. So I shut it down and restart until the leaks are no longer detected. Quote Share this post Link to post
Aspisoph 0 Posted ... E 2016.09.16 20:43:39 - DNS checking failed. Try disabling the DNS checks. giganerdRestarting wasn't working this time, so I unchecked the 'Check AirVPN DNS:' setting and it got past that failure. So it is doing what I do when I go to https://ipleak.net/ I just want to be sure it is safe to surf.I Quote Share this post Link to post
