Connecting to other openvnc servers with airvpn installed

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I use airvpn on my laptop but also have an openvpn server installed on my home network. I would like to use the home vpn server to connect to my home network while on the road. However, when I use openvpn gui to connect using my home ovpn file, it gives a 'route addition failure (object already exists)' error and connects me to an airvpn server.

Is there anyway around this? Thanks for your help!

You will need to adjust your home VPN client config and specify it that you don't want to pull routes, using the route-nopull

directive in your config file. Then you will have access to your home resources, with or without AirVPN, if that is the intended task.

You will need to manually specify later which subnet should be routed via your new tunnel.
