AirVPN on VM over another VPN

Recommended Posts

Hi, I run AirVPN without problem even in my VB boxes or my main pc's and i m very happy with this so far.

The problem is the following, i run another private vpn in my main pc, and AirVpn from a VM (both with windows 7) but when i am connected to VPN in my main pc, AirVPN does not connect at any server in my VM.

When i disconnect my main pc from VPN , AirVPN connects at any server without problem.

The same was happening when i choose the opposite, main pc Airvpn, VM other VPN failed.

Do you know how can i make this to work?

Thanks

I was going to suggest bridged mode for your VNIC, rather than NAT, but that will create two parallel VPNs, one from the physical PC and the other from the VM, rather than tunnelling AirVPN over the other provider.

Are you able to connect out from the VM when the host is connected via VPN? If so is your externally visible address that of the VPN adaptor on the guest machine?

If you're using virtual box, you might be able to use a NAT network - https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch06.html#network_nat_service
