Fedora 24 & beesu

Hello, sorry if this has been answered before.

I'm running Fedora 24 and the newest Eddie client (2.11.3).

May I ask why does the client needs beesu to run?

As far as I know beesu doesn't have the option to run without prompting for a password.

I'd really like AirVPN to automatically connect at startup and activate network lock without prompting me for a password.

One more thing, is it possible to make the client never disable Network Lock? Because now I see that it disables it when quiting the program.

OpenVPN needs root permissions to run (the route setting part of it to be exact), so whatever su wrapper you have in your

desktop manager, it will be invoked.

 

The network lock can be persistent, even if Eddie is not running.

When I downloaded Eddie a few days ago and tried to run it, it prompted me that it can't run without su manager when I already had sudo installed.

It wouldn't start if I didn't install beesu.

Also, could you tell me how I can make network lock persistent?
