OS X Time machine backup destination not available when VPN connected

Hi,

I run airvpn in a parallels virtual machine and uses OS X server Time machine backup service on the host

to backup my vm. It works fine until I connect using eddie, then the backup destination becomes unavailable. 

 

Since the vm is always connected to vpn I dont get any backups unless I manually disconnects vpn

which is not ideal. I've tried to add the host in routing outside the vpn tunnel but it did not work.

 

Any ideas how to solve this is most welcome.
