What exact issue you are facing? The issue is this: I updated DSM to the current version, and since the update i have a 50% chance transmission works.I have not changed a thing to my settings (who worked 100% for months). Now i can have a period that transmission doesn't find any trackers, any peers or else. This situation stays for a day and then it works again for half a day. Nothing changed, nothing done, just suddenly it works again. This is going on for 2-3 days.I have restarted the synology: no effecti disabled my firewall: no effect What is your current DSM version number? DSM 6.0.1-7393Have you tried the download on Download Station? No, but i can download with airvpn on the same server/same protocol/same port without issues on my home pc.Which AirVPN server are connected to? Have you tried some other AirVPN servers also? Elnath alternative ip udp port 53 / no, i would be needing to switch my entire setup for that, and since it works on my home pc.When was the last time it was working fine for you? It works at this moment, but i'm not sure about tomorrow.Have you checked the UDP port numbers are same as earlier in Transmission? yes, still the same I know that it's possible that the solution is needed from synology/synocommunity, but i wanted to post here to see if other people had the problem? (since i'm seeing alot of posts about torrents lately on the forum) Quote Share this post Link to post

(since i'm seeing alot of posts about torrents lately on the forum)HI, As I mentioned I am currently using the same DSM version and it is working absolutely fine with Download Station. You should try Download Station once to be sure that it is not transmission which is causing this issue. Also, please see if you have DNS servers settings correct in Synology. I also remember facing the same issue (where search in Download Station was not finding anything) then changing to Google DNS/OpenNIC DNS fixed that. I am not sure but may be you need to open port 53 also for DNS queries. At least try these changes (one at a time) to see if it works. Quote Share this post Link to post
