Valarian 0 Posted ... I'm trying to use a virtual tabletop called Fantasy Grounds with the port forwarding. I want the software in order to be able to run games from a hotel when on the move. It's a client-server relationship, facilitated by an "alias" server that translates a connection request into an IP address and then passes the connection on to the server. The GM acts as the server in the relationship. In order to do this, the port 1802 is required. I've set up a port forward for this local port, but I'm unable to get a connection.I've tried connecting via the alias server, and also directly using the IP address and the dynamic DNS address. None of these are working. Currently trying using my home connection (BT Home Hub router), in order to test it. I want to be able to use this from hotel public networks though.
