FlurryOfStyx 1 Posted ... I would like to know if websites I browse and files I download are visible to my internet provider while I'm using AirVPN. My internet provider sent me the following e-mail, can someone tell me if I'm in trouble or it's just a warning? If it's just a warning do you advise me to change internet provider or it's a bad idea? I'm 70% sure I was using airvpn, I had a problem connecting for 2 days so I'm not 100% sure. I basically just downloaded 1 episode of a TV show. Looking for answers, really scared/worried. Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted ... Well first off, the last bit that asks you to delete the file they can't verify that and they are required to give warning before taking action in most places as far as I know(don't hold me to it) also if you use network lock your real IP shouldn't be known but as you said you had DC problems it's likely that your real IP leaked because without the network lock your torrent client will just reconnect. User of AirVPN 46 Posted ... When you are using AirVPN, your internet provider can not see any of your online activity. The only thing they will know is that you are using a VPN. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Share this post Link to post
