Checking DNS - Arch Linux with standalone app

Hello,

 

I'm using the standalone app (no mono) on Arch Linux. It gets stuck on 'checking dns'. Is there a way to fix it without switching to OpenVPN direct or the standalone client with mono? Here are the logs:

Edit: I can see my resolv.conf updating to include only 10.5.0.1. The client is connecting on a port/protocol allowed by my firewall.

It works from the cli with UDP, but can't login using TCP. Neither seems to connect from the gui. This is good enough for me, but if anyone has comments feel free to add them. Thanks.
