Same old story, very low speeds

I have a 380Mbps down connection.  Actual throughput at best with this VPN is under 4 MB/sec.  Tried every possible port in the config and 512 buffer sizes.

 

If each server has a max of 1 Gbps throughput....would not 100 users easily cap that out?  I mean I've gotten at the least two tenths of that entire speed in the past on another VPN by myself....

 

I used to get 200-300 something Mbps connection using another VPN, but they started to suck and that's why I am here.  

 

Are ISPs throttling basically everything now?

If all users are active (which happens rarely), maybe. Also, not everyone around here does have 10 MBit/s of bandwidth..

 

How do you connect? What's your setup? Even some logs can help us understand your situation.

The default buffer sizes are just the ones mostly used, I had to set my own buffer sizes to get my full speed most of the time.

Try different connection types and various ports. UDP / TCP / SSL / SSH. Try them all at what ever port options are available.
