VPN immediately disconnects on android

I have problem with VPN on Nexus 6 running Android 6.0.1. Everything was fine for few weeks, but know VPN disconnects after few seconds. Here is log:

I see you are using LTE. A part of SIOCGIFHWADDR means Get InterFace HardWare ADDRess, so it seems that LTE interfaces are not the same as 2G or 3G interfaces (they are called rmnet).

Could you try setting your network mode to 2G and/or 3G and attempt a connection again?

Would like to hear from people with LTE phones and plans if they have the same problem and can check if a LTE interface has got some other name.

The result is the same when I'm using 3G or WiFi.

Try turning off/removing the options/commands to disable IPv6.

I've managed to resolve my problem. Somehow Opera Max app was causing this trouble, even if not running. I uninstalled it and now everything works perfectly.

Opera Max seems to open a VPN connection using VpnService API, the same API OpenVPN apps use. It didn't work because there was already a VPN connection active, and only one is allowed simultaneously.
