AirVPN fails after 5 mins of use

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am a new user to AirVPN and seem to be having issues with getting the service to work for more than 5 mins. I am able to connect ok to any server (tried almost all of them) and everything works ok for 2-5 mins. Then browsing just gives up and AirVPN disconnects itself. I have done a fresh install of Windows 7 (was using 10 before), disabled all aspects of Windows security I can think of (firewall, security center, anti-virus). When AirVPN disconnects I can longer re-connect again. If I allow the program to close down and quit I still have no connection at all. In order to restore everything I have to go in to my network adapters and disable / enable the Ethernet connection. I downloaded and installed all the latest drivers for my system when I did the fresh install and now I'm at a loss. I used to use PIA (private internet access) and had the exact same problem hence my the reason I'm trying AirVPN. I have attached the log file. Thanks.

It seems to work fine at the start, then for some reason it becomes unable to modify your system I am unsure what it could be I'm afraid tho

then here

. 2016.01.01 11:28:40 - Connection terminated.

it becomes unable to keep the connection to the server. If you had this same issue with 2 providers perhaps its your ISP? but that wouldn't make sense to me given that your system itself was unable to finish the initilizing

Funny enough in the past few days I've had my first instances of the connection to all servers close every few hours, with the same logs as you provided. I've restarted my router (Crappy Virgin Media SuperHub) and my computer... this has never happened before only recently.

Yeah I was thinking about that being the ISP. The only thing that made me think it might not be that is that Windows 10 did its big update to the latest version and then it seemed to work fine with no problems at all (didn't work previously). I then removed Windows 10 for unrelated reason and got my 7 disc back out and then went back to not working. I will go through all options in protocol and see if any of those work.

If you could link your log as well when it happens it might be easier to pinpoint, with the info from his I'm not able to find a consistancy
