Can't connect with VPN with Android

Dear AirVpn Team,

today I tried to use open vpn in my library with WiFi.
So I first connected to the WiFi entered the password then I had to enter the browser and enter my library ID so I could use the WiFi.
OK WiFi works. Now I wanted to use use vpn.
So I opened OpenVPN and tried to connect to the European server. But it didn't work. I tried several times but without luck.
I can use OpenVPN with my WiFi at home.
So OpenVPN must be configured right.
Can someone help me.
I Posted the OpenVPN outcome below.
I am using a Sony Xperia Z with root Android version 5.1.1

I only skimmed it, but looks like their wifi is blocking the port you are trying to connect through.

Is it possible that vpns are blocked in your library?

I don't know if vpn is blocked there.

From which port do I start?

And till what port can I choose?

Sorry for the questions but I am new to vpn.

In Airvpn client click on Preferences and then on Protocols. Here you can select which one and then i believe you should disconnect and reconnect again to test it.

But there is no AirVpn client on Android.

I am using OpenVPN

My apologies, i replied thinking about the client version, not android. 

 

You can do it in your Client area in Config Generator, on the bottom of the page under Connection Modes, click the box Advanced mode, here you can try a different port but i do not know if that applies for an android too.
