Start Eddie without root Password Linux

Hello everyone, I am using Linux Mint 17.2 and wanted to ask if it is possible to start Eddie without having to enter my root Password.

After my PC boots Eddie starts automatically like I wanted to.

But I always have to enter my root Password.

Is it possible to prevent this?

Edit your /etc/sudoers file, and add

 

username ALL= /bin/eddie,/sbin/eddie

 

replace with the correct path where you have Eddie.

 

Note that this will lessen the security of your Linux system.

As long as it only affects Eddie I am OK with that.

How can I find out in which path Eddie is located.

Try looking up the properties of whatever AirVPN shortcut you have e.g. in Linux panel, right click > edit. If you don't have a shortcut, create one. I'm a newbie at Linux, might well be a better way.
