How the config generator knows that its me?

Im using airvpn from my router using the instructions for dd-wrt posted here:

During the setup phase, the config generator located here https://airvpn.org/generator/ never asked me for my password or anything. It just gave me the files. I was expecting that i had to enter my credentials.

 

The service its up and running, my router is connected to the vpn, but i never got asked for a username/password. How is that possible?  Is this some sort of universal config?

The config already knows this since you are logged in. It generates the config files and authenticate with your airVPN account

Ahhhh i see. I was thinking that user was only for the forums.
