andreluis034 0 Posted ... First I have to congratulate the airvpn team for the service they provide, tons of servers in multiple countries, and with good speed for video streaming(from portugal). How ever for downloading files I think the current download speeds I can achieve leaves a bit to be desired. I have 25MB/s download and 2.5 MB/s upload(and I do get those speeds to almost every server in europe). and the fastest I could get from your airvpns server was about 10-12 MB/s usually a bit less to the Brachium Spain, located in Valencia, and the rest of the servers for me are usually in the 3 MB/s-6 MB/s range. The server on which I seem to get better speeds, about 12 MB/s, is the Portuguese server when it's with low usage and correct me if I'm wrong, but that's something that's isn't very common as the server seems to be most of the times at 40-50%+ usage so I was wondering if there were any plans in the near future to upgrade the Portuguese server, Tureis. Thanks, Andre Quote Share this post Link to post

Actually it is one of the most "abandoned" Air servers, it isn't very popular unlike other servers. You can see that there is only once a month there might be 40-50% usage for a few hours, the rest of the time this server is idle. Normally Air upgrades existing locations when there is a popular demand... 2 andreluis034 and amair reacted to this Quote Hide zhang888's signature Hide all signatures Occasional moderator, sometimes BOFH.
