Computer won't go into sleep mode.

I just installed AirVPN and now it won't let my computer go into sleep mode. It only goes to sleep if I disconnect from the VPN first. I've never had this problem before with other VPNs.

 

I'm on Windows 8 and using the AirVPN client.

It may have something to do with the way PFS (Perfect Forward Secrecy) works, in that it has to rekey every 60 minuets and sending the computer into sleep mode would interrupt this. Unsure, so one of the staff may want to confirm this?
