Sharing AirVPN connection with OSX 10.9+

This was already a topic somewhere in the past, but I wasn't able to find the correlating thread/post. In a nutshell the information was that with the changes to natd and ipfw it was no longer possible the old way to share your OpenVPN or AirVPN connection using adhoc networks via network preferences in OSX 10.9+

 

Now I found this post https://superuser.com/questions/931827/sharing-openvpn-on-mac-os-x-yosemite (last post bottom of the page) describing a way to do it with regards to the mentioned code changes. 

 

This is technically a little over my head. Any chance that someone is willing to break this information down so we can use this in conjunction with the eddie client on OSX? Also the part with the startup daemon? I'd be really grateful if this was possible. I can imagine others would like to have this too.
