wrong server?

hi folks i connected to USA

but ipleak says im Netherlands

can anyone else confirm this anomaly

also when i disconnect i loose all internet. why do i have to manually put in my DNS again to get normal net back again?

these little issues are whats stopping me from making the jump full time to air

all in all i love air but there's still issues every time i trial it out

Connect to another server in the U.S. if you need a real (ARIN) U.S. IP.

The issue with Persei, in short, is that the company are announcing their RIPE IPs (94.100.23.0/24)

for their U.S. located servers, and this creates some confusion with MaxMind as well.

Maxmind doesn't exactly like to make changes based on requests from 3d parties, especially

when you ask them to change continents of put a country not from the same RIR.

What Air promises you is that the server is physically located where it says it is, not that various services

will geolocate it to this exact location. This is the case for more than 95% of the servers, but you can never

be sure. When you encounter this, just switch a server to one that geolocates correctly.

Regarding the second issue, it's a documented feature called network lock. Read about and see what it

does, and if you need it. This is a security mechanism mostly designed to protect you. You can turn it off.
