Viscosity says connected, but airvpn.org says disconnected

I use Viscosity to connect to another OpenVPN server without issues, but when I import the .ovpn file for AirVPN and start browsing, the IP I'm connecting from shows my local IP, not the VPN. Occasionally it will switch, but most of the time I'm not actually routing traffic through the VPN as far as I can tell. Is there a config I'm missing or something?

I'm now using the AirVPN client and it's working consistently. But I use Viscosity to connect to other servers, so it's pretty frustrating to need to switch back and forth between clients. If anyone has any tips on configuration please let me know.

Figured this out. The issue is IPv6 leaks. Sparklabs has instructions for preventing IPv6 leaks here:

See the bottom of that page. I followed the instructions there and now it works.
