therion 7 Posted ... I think this would be an amazing thing and an all-together necessary thing for Android. Does anyone know of an alternative atm, for Android? I would rather use something made by AirVPN, instead of someone else, but I will use what is there, if anything, for now. 1 produs reacted to this Hide therion's signature Hide all signatures -Veritas Share this post Link to post
S.O.A. 83 Posted ... I asked the staff this question 4-5 days ago and this was their response. "We're sorry, at the moment we have not planned a client for Android." Maybe sometime in the distant future but for now it sounds like the Eddie client will not be coming to Android anytime soon. Share this post Link to post
zhang888 1066 Posted ... I am not sure that 90% of the features Eddie has are needed or even possible to implement on Android without root. And this should be the exact case since not many users are rooting the phone, and it has security implications by itself. This is where stock OpenVPN apps (there are 2 of them, and are in the wiki) can do the job, except the server profiles, where you have toimport the .ovpn files there once. 2 therion and produs reacted to this Hide zhang888's signature Hide all signatures Occasional moderator, sometimes BOFH.
