TCP Optimizer Question?.

I have just upgraded to an SSD and reinstalled my Windows 7 64bit OS from scratch. I had reinstalled/reapplied all my programs, settings etc and in the course of that I came across this video on You Tube on speeding up Win7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2GTFmHp9E8. As this stuff interests me I had a look see. Most of the tips I already had applied but there were two or three I didn't know about and they seemed sensible so I applied them. The program below also had some good reviews and I also installed and set it up. Now I have no doubt that it will optimize my LAN card better but afterwards I realised that I am running AirVPN in the Protocol UDP, port 443 setting as through trial and error I found that I got faster downloads at that setting. As the program below is called TCP Optimizer does that mean that in my present AirVPN setting it will be no good to me or what?.
