ssh or ssl tunneling in iOS

Hi
is it possible to make ssh or ssl tunneling in iOS ?
in Cydia , there is OpenSSH package and Stunnel package " wraps connections with SSL support "
but i can't find any guide how to do it ..
is that possible to do in iOS ? i know that iOS has limitation time to apps to work in background like no more than 10 minutes that affect SSH

but what about SSL ?

Everything I've read on this subject says ssh and ssl tunneling isn't possible on iOS. Wether jailbreaking an iOS device allows it I couldn't say.
