Logging and usage don't match up?

Please excuse me if I'm asking something stupid, because I'm completely new to this.

 

Today I tested out airvpn using the 3 day trial.

 

I checked that I have no DNS leaks, etc, and everything came up clean. Even speedtest showed me connecting through the netherlands instead of my actual IP.

 

However, I downloaded approximately 1.5gb of files via my browser, and yet https://airvpn.org/client/ shows me as having downloaded only 75mb. 

 

Am I right in thinking I have something misconfigured?

Hi,

The client portal should also indicate how long have you been connected.

 

So you have to measure that accordingly. If you see that the client portal shows you that you have

been only recently connected, then it means that your VPN client reconnected for some reason.

This is not necessary a bad thing, and is not an indication of a leak by itself.

 

You should run a few more tests.
