Hello Everyone,

I am opening this thread because I am having issues in connecting to my VNC server outside my local network while I am using AirVPN.

Remote Linux (Debian OS) running X11VNC

ip: 192.168.1.47

port: 5925

I forwarded the 5925 port with 192.168.1.47 on my router and everything works great as long as the remote linux machine is not running AirVPN.

I also opened and tested the 5925 port in the AirVPN website under

Client Area -> Your forwarded ports

and when I press the test button I get the green light.

So, what Am I doing wrong? Do I have to modify and/or add something in the server side in the IP Tables? If so, could someone please help me out?

If you are forwarding the port with AirVPN, you must use the exit IP of the AirVPN server you are connected to and NOT 192.168.1.47 as that is a local IP, only accessible while on your network.
