Trouble with Plex (sorry...)

I've searched and tried everything and I can't get anything to work. Here's my setup.

 

I have the Verizon Fios Actiontec router with a Asus RT-N16 as a secondary router with Tomato installed. The Asus is on a different subnet than the Actiontec and the Asus connects to AirVPN. I run everything through the second router which connects to AirVPN.

 

 

I tried setting up forwarding the ports on AirVPN to have my Plex server visible through the VPN, but nothing. 

 

Most of the setups I see with Plex connect with the software client.

 

Can someone point me in the right direction?
