AIRVPN - maintaining connectivity with the LAN

Hi,

 

I was wondering if there is a way via static routes or multi-homed configuration that would allow me to run the AirVPN client while maintaining my connection to the LAN. I am running the client inside a Linux MINT VM. I would not want to compromise security or anonymity in any way.

Eddie client for linux makes this easy for Mint users:

 

Preferences --- advanced  ----- network lock  ------- tick allow LAN
