Anonymousvpnuser1 3 Posted ... Ipleak.net reports no DNS leaks, reports proper IP address from whatever country server i conenct to and there are no WebRTC leaks. I've been using the VPN to watch different regions movies on netflix and it's been working fine. However when strolling around i clicked on a hulu video and it came up with the message "Based on your IP address, we noticed you are trying to access Hulu through an anonymous proxy tool. Hulu is not currently available the US. If you're in the US, you'll need disable your anonymizer to access videos on Hulu". How is hulu able to see i'm behind a VPN if ipleak.net reports no leaks of any kind? Or is it just the fact that i didn't have a US IP when i tried to watch a video? Thanks. Without going too much into the technical details, they are probably be able to know that this IP belongs to a VPNservice using some techniques: 1) Online databases of VPNs such as blocked.com2) A simple log detection system, checking how many people accessed the service from the same IP during x period of time. You will probably have to change a server and the issue will be solved. Quote Hide zhang888's signature Hide all signatures Occasional moderator, sometimes BOFH.
